Family-Friendly Factory 2023 report now available

Hong Kong SAR, February 29, 2024: Today, the Ethical Supply Chain Program releases the first impact report for the Family-Friendly Factory program.

At the end of 2021, the Family-Friendly Factory program was piloted at four factories, in collaboration with UNICEF. Following this successful pilot, we are proud to share that in 2023, the program was adopted in 15 factories in mainland China, benefiting over 8,000 workers.

In this report you will learn of the achievements and impacts made in these 15 factories as well as our future plans for the program and global expansion.

Highlights from the impact report:

• 15 factories participated 8,000 workers benefitted
• 94% of managers said workers were more motivated at work
• 79% of managers said worker retention increased
• 68% of workers said they were happy with their factory on a whole
• 72% of worker said they would like to continue working at their factory
• 68% of workers said they would recommend working at the factory to their friends and family
