The CRBPs are based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and are aligned with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Principles provide a comprehensive framework for understanding and addressing the impact of business on the rights and well-being of children, requiring business to respect and support children’s rights by both preventing harm and actively safeguarding children’s interests.

利益相关方的参与是创造协同效应的关键，由于近年许多企业已实现了全球供应链的多元化，因此，寻找有效方法以和供应商建立可持续关系的重要性比以往任何时候都更为大。

雇主支付原则 (EPP) 规定，任何工人都不应支付费用而获聘- 招聘的费用不应由工人承担，而应由雇主承担。在全球, 越来越多的玩具行业和其他行业的主要品牌和零售商都采用相继采用EPP。

现在 IETP 再次提醒工厂，请立刻检视正在使用的小咭片及海报是否已经更新，在２０１９年３月１日开始，如工厂还使用旧的海报或小咭片，将会视为不符合项 (审核清单10.4.1项)

Every child has the right to grow up loved and cared for by their parents. But what if they can’t? An estimated 15 million migrant workers in China – many of whom are factory workers – have left their children behind and only see them once a year. Many others have no choice but to leave their children in dorm rooms during the summer holidays while they work or take them to the factory floor.

从2019年2月1日起, IETP的审核报告都会含有APSCA的注册号码, 大家可以在 Connect平台上查阅。

IETP 参与了由 Save the Children Vietnam、瑞联稚博（CCR CSR）及 ISMS 合办的 Children's Rights and Business 项目，协助进行工厂调查，以找出父母工人及儿童权益在越南供应链中面对之挑战。越南是个日益重要的生产国，项目的结果能为当地工人所获的福祉提供宝贵的见解。

营运方面：

Woolworths are working to minimise duplication through ‘mutual recognition’. As many of their suppliers are already a part of a social compliance audit program, Woolworths will now accept compliance information from third-party schemes to reduce audit duplication. ICTI Ethical Toy Program has been selected as an approved third-party scheme. The schemes have been selected based on their coverage, governance, relevance to Woolworths at-risk supply chain and alignment to their Standards.

These factories transformed spaces on-site into fantastic childcare facilities to accommodate the children of their workers. During the work day the children are looked after by specialist teachers and supervisors who provide opportunities for the children to learn and play.

The webinar will give you an introduction to the business environment and opportunities for toy companies in India.

We outline the relevant child rights issues which companies should be aware of within their supply chains, and also share best practices and case studies showing practical actions which factories are taking to both promote family-friendly workspaces and advance child rights as well as presenting the latest research on the impacts of COVID-19 for children.
