The Ethical Supply Chain Program (ESCP) is committed to enabling continuous improvement not only in regard to its auditing program, but in the products, technology and services it offers members.

ESCP is pleased to announce further enhancements to the Connect platform including enhanced search and sourcing capabilities, improved UI and greater visibility for factories participating in worker well-being programs.

To assist users in transitioning to the new user interface (UI), the platform will keep a default UI toggle button until the end of Decemeber, 2024.

From now until 31 Decemeber 2024, Connect users are encouraged to try the new Beta UI by clicking the 'Beta UI' yellow button floating on the right hand side of the Connect platform. This will toggle the new user interface on, users are able to toggle off the new user interface until the end of Decemeber 2024, by pressing the yelllow button 'Default UI'.

ESCP hopes users will toggle the new user interface on now, to acclimatise themselves with the new user face which has been designed to be more user friendly and includes new and enhanced features which enable easier and more efficient sourcing.

For all Users:

New login, dashboard and simplified terminology.

We have introduced a new dashboard, with collapsable menu options for easier navigation.

We have unified our language to reflect current terminology. We are no longer using ‘seal’ all of our certificates are referred to as ‘certificates’, we have also simplified our 'factory status' language, removing outdated terminology such as 'class', as shown below. The new UI also introduces more defined columns and categories.

For Brand Users

Simplified search and usability:

We have introduced a new dashboard which automatically loads into the ‘My Factories’ page when brand users login. We have also improved the visibility of factories. The ‘Ethical Sourcing’ tab now automatically opens into a new interactive map, which can be easily closed, using the 'x' button, to show the entire ESCP factory database, as demonstrated below:

In addition, within the 'Ethical Sourcing' tab, Brand Users can search by product type, by selecting from options using the ‘all products’ dropdown bar or now by clicking on the adjacent products icon, as shown below. This has been introduced to improve the user experience of the platform.

Brand Users can also search for factories who participate in Worker Well-Being programs including Gender Equality and Family-Friendly Factory. As shown below:

For Factory Users

Simplified layout and visibility:

A new, simplified, search bar with advanced search filters is available. Factories are now able to highlight the worker well-being programs they participate in and, in this way, increase their visibility to brand users.

New reminders and enhanced transparency

We have added red pending reminders to the 'Payment' and 'Assessment' tabs as well as Worker Well-Being program icons to further drive transparency.
