We are very proud to utilise UNICEF tools and expertise as part of our Family-Friendly Factory program. As part of our ongoing relationship, we have shared technical advice to support the development of UNICEF's Family-Friendly Policies Toolkit, which launches this March.

The new Toolkit has been developed to help businesses—whether in factories, farms, offices, or service-oriented workplaces—adopt policies like paid leave, flexible work, childcare, and breastfeeding support. As part of launching the Toolkit, UNICEF is convening business leaders, industry associations, policymakers, and experts to explore ways of collaboration to drive uptake of family-friendly policies.

We are therefore pleased to share, on March 6th, our President & CEO, Carmel Giblin will sit on a panel discussion at the launch event focusing on ‘How can different actors come together to support companies in implementing family-friendly policies?’, and discussing three key questions:

•       What roles can different actors play in supporting uptake and implementation?

•       What support would the private sector need to drive implementation?

•       What are ways in which companies can drive advocacy and engagement with governments?
