Woolworths Australia accepts ICTI Ethical Toy Program as part of new Responsible Sourcing Program

Woolworths are working to minimise duplication through ‘mutual recognition’. As many of their suppliers are already a part of a social compliance audit program, Woolworths will now accept compliance information from third-party schemes to reduce audit duplication. ICTI Ethical Toy Program has been selected as an approved third-party scheme. The schemes have been selected based on their coverage, governance, relevance to Woolworths at-risk supply chain and alignment to their Standards.

Supply Chain Management News: Woolworths Australia has launched a new Responsible Sourcing Program accepting Ethical Toy Program as part of their commitment to doing the right thing for vulnerable workers in their global supply chain. Woolworths’ revamped Responsible Sourcing Program has been created to respond to changes in regulation, legislation, new due diligence requirements and the sustainability concerns of customers and reflects the company’s strengthened commitment to responsible sourcing.Woolworths are working to minimise duplication through ‘mutual recognition’.
