The Ethical Supply Chain Program is announcing the launch of an all-new program in partnership with The Toy Association, to provide small and medium-sized toy companies a more efficient way to meet their sourcing and social compliance needs from a community of globally established and certified manufacturers.

The milestone comes as the Helpline reaches its 15-year anniversary

The Ethical Supply Chain Program's (ESCP) Worker Helpline has passed a significant milestone as it celebrates its 15-year anniversary – with more than 10 million supply chain workers having had access to the service since its launch.

On the 23^rd October 2024 in Dongguan, China we held our very first Worker Well-Being Conference. Hosted at Golden Cup Printing, an Ethical SupplyChain Program (ESCP) factory member and long-standing participant and supporter of ESCP Worker Well-Being initiatives.

To allow for 2025 Chinese New Year celebrations, the Ethical Supply Chain Program will instruct our accredited firms to not conduct audits or Progress Visits between January 13^th through to February 9^th, 2025 (2 weeks before and after Chinese New Year).

In partnership with Think HUGE Business and Investment Council (HUGE) and Invest Guatemala we invite interested members to explore 10 carefully curated supplier profiles from Guatemala.  These profiles showcase potential partners who are committed to ethical labor practices and sustainability.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) will host two training sessions this September. The first will be held on September 5th in Hanoi, Vietnam, and the second, on September 11th in Shenzhen, China.

London, UK, March 13 2024: Today, Parliament approved its position on revamped EU rules on toy safety with 603 votes in favour, 5 against and 15 abstentions. The text responds to a number of new challenges, mainly stemming from digital toys and online shopping, and converts the existing directive into a directly applicable regulation.

Hong Kong SAR, February 29, 2024: Today, the Ethical Supply Chain Program releases the first impact report for the Family-Friendly Factory program.

The global non-profit is recognized as a leading expert in social compliance and labor standards, widely known for its robust Supplier Certification Program, alongside its Social Impact Assessment, Environmental Assessment, supplier capability building and worker wellbeing initiatives.

Hong Kong SAR, December 20, 2023: Today, the ICTI Ethical Toy Program releases the first impact report for the Gender Equality program. The Gender Equality program was developed in response to the needs of manufacturing workers. Initial program development was funded by program member, Mattel. In 2022, the program was piloted at 12 factories in mainland China.

Hong Kong SAR, October 31, 2023: Today, the ICTI Ethical Toy Program releases the impact report for its 2023 Family-Friendly Spaces Program, the multi-beneficial social initiative designed to improve the lives of manufacturing workers while producing measurable business benefits for manufacturing businesses and their partners. The report outlines the impacts and achievements created by the program, in its eighth year of operation.
