Audit MANAGEMENT PROCESS

Social Compliance Audits & Supplier Certification

Ensure ethical and responsible sourcing with ESCP’s industry-leading social compliance audits.
ESCP has a range of assessment programs to meet the varying needs of responsible companies including upholding global labour standards, reducing audit duplication, and improving supply chain transparency.

Trusted By

Our rigorous facility certification program is the most comprehensive compliance program, ensuring all non-compliance are remediated. Certification helps companies achieve and maintain global labour standards, reduce audit duplication, and improve supply chain transparency resource efficiently.

Our assessment methodology and scope is regularly reviewed to respond to the evolving needs of the factories, brands, licensors and retailers, and to reflect changes in regulation.  These reviews are overseen by our Technical Advisory Council (TAC) to ensure the expectations of all stakeholders are considered.

Our programs cover all types of products and services from any sector & industry. Our assessments are trusted by international buyers; for example, in the toy sector, over two-thirds of the world’s toys are produced in Ethical Supply Chain Program Certified facilities.

ESCP certification plays a major role in reducing audit duplication by providing a single ethical & responsible sourcing standard that is requested and accepted by responsible brands and retailers worldwide. Duplication is reduced as non-compliances are confirmed as remediated, so no individual buyer has the task of remediating on their own. Progress onremediation is transparently reported through the ESCP Connect platform.

Becoming an ESCP certified or assessed facility also helps drive improvements in your  business and increases competitiveness by reducing worker turnover, increasing worker satisfaction and creating a safer, better and more productive workplace. We are your partner and understand your operational realities.

All ESCP assessments can be combined with an Environmental Assessment (EA), visit here for more information.

Our approach to facility & supplier monitoring

All facilities in the ESCP Certification Program are subject to at least one audit and one Progress Visit (PV) within their certification validation period of one year by either ESCP’s technical team or one of our accredited third-party auditing firms.

Every ESCP audit report is reviewed by our Program Monitoring and Development team.

“What sets ESCP apart is the hands-on support. We can always reach out to ESCP experts with questions, and they provide the advice we need. The service has definitely surpassed my expectations.”

Audit integrity

Honesty, integrity, and trust lie at the core of the Ethical Supply Chain Program.
All our staff, our appointed third-party auditors, and progress visit specialists, must observe the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction where they are located, and maintain a high standard of professional ethics when conducting business.

We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. Our dedicated Integrity Team is responsible for the implementation of our integrity policy within – and across – all ESCP Programs.
