As we enter the second week of the Family-Friendly Spaces Program, we are delighted to share that the factories have been filled with exciting games and parent-child activities. These activities enable children to build closer relationships with their parents while gaining new knowledge and developing skills.
The teachers in the Family-Friendly Spaces have been encouraging the children to unleash their creativity through activities like building with blocks, solving puzzles, and painting. While engaging in these games, children learn to play with each other, build friendships, and develop motor neurone skills.
Across the 55 spaces, there were many exciting activities: some children explored local playgrounds, some visited the fire station to learn about fire safety, and others learnt about the process of making traditional food. There were also different parent-child activities organised, such as family lunches and parent-child reading time, allowing working parents to strengthen the bond with their children in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
These activities help to build a fun and memorable summer for the children, allowing them to create precious memories with their parents. We are deeply grateful to all program leaders and teachers for providing the participants with such a spectacular week!
